Thank you for your purchase. Your image is printed on a Kopy Kake Icing Sheets. The information found here will help you store and handle your image. If your question is not answered in this document please e-mail us at kseals@pieceofcakedecorating.com.
Before Application
• Keep your image in the sealed bag until ready to use.
• If your area experiences HIGH HUMIDITY, store unused images in the zip-lock bag,
in the freezer.
• If your climate is EXTREMELY DRY, store unused images in the zip-lock bag, in the
refrigerator.

To remove from backing…

Place the printed sheet in the freezer for 30 to 90 seconds.
Remove it from freezer and allow it to rest for 5 seconds.
Gently roll the backing sheet over the edge of a table or counter (with image facing
up). The image should pop off the backing sheet or peel with greater ease.
We do our best to size your picture to fit the edible sheet. However, sometimes this is unavoidable. To remove the white boarder from your image, simply cut it with a straight edge and a sharp knife. Trimming your image can be done either before or after you have removed the wafer paper from the backing sheet.
Troubleshooting Tips
• If you are having trouble getting the image to start peeling away from the backing
sheet, run a sharp knife under all of the edges and follow the tip below.
Use an extra backing sheet (any stiff paper will work) to slide under your icing sheet
design to loosen from other backing sheets.
• Anytime your image sticks to the backing, place it in the freezer for 30 seconds then
start working it again.

Tips for Applying Your Edible Image To your Cake
• The icing sheet sticks best to a freshly iced cake.
If the buttercream has formed a crust, spray with a fine mist of water before applying
the image.
DO NOT ADD extra moisture to non-dairy whipped toppings.
Add a generous mist of water over royal icing.
For fondant only, add a slight misting of water where you will be placing an icing sheet.
• Hide any unwanted edges with a boarder. See www.pieceofcakedecorating.com for
piping tips and tutorials.
